We are now asking for VOLUNTEERS to help during the day of the 1st Annual DAWG Day (8 Nov 2014). This is a Saturday. While the festival will run from 10am-10pm, we will need folks willing to come early and/or stay late to help out, as well. We are asking for a 4 hour commitment for volunteering.

DEPARTMENTS NEEDING VOLUNTEERS
1. FOOD SERVICE
–Running supplies to the food tables
–Making sure the ice chests remain full
–Serving drinks and food (hot dogs, etc)
–Clean up
2. SET-UP/BREAK-DOWN
–Help teams set up their exhibit booths (as needed)
–‘Wrangle’ i.e. help out with getting teams/people/material where they need to be on-site (under direction of the Events Coordinator)
–Emptying garbage bins
–Tear-Down of tables and site after event
3. GENERAL ASSISTANCE
–General ‘extra set of hands’. May require light/moderate lifting, standing, and moving from area to area as needed
–Table Monitoring: Manning the information tables, bouncy-houses, and assisting those in need
