Karbach Brewery to Sponsor 1st Annual DAWG Day!


DAWG Foundation is proud to announce our partnership with Houston-based KARBACH BREWERY for the 1st Annual DAWG Day festival!

DAWG Day will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2014 from 10am-10pm alongside our other sponsor, Barks 5th Ave, on FM-1960 (near Jones Rd) in Houston, TX.

The festival will be a flurry of activity, with some of the following just a small taste of what will be going on throughout the day:

*MMA Fighting Exhibitions from area gyms/clubs
*Canine obedience/stunt demonstrations
*CHILI COOK-OFF!*Exhibits from area civic organizations
*Awards Ceremony for the DAWG Foundation’s “PTSD Awareness Champion ’14”
*Numerous special guests/local personalities (TBA)
*Live Music
*Silent Auction & Raffle (Thousands of $$$ in items!)

A heart-felt THANK YOU goes out from all of us at DAWG Foundation to the fantastic team at KARBACH BREWERY for choosing to support this event.  So remember, you can show your thanks by making your next beer purchase one of KARBACH’s fine brews!

Silent Auction Donations Needed!

Are you crafty, or maybe have some unique items you would like to donate for the 1st Annual DAWG Day (November 8th) silent auction?

We are now accepting items for donation!  Some suggested items:

1. Sports memorabilia (autographs, etc)
2. Veteran-related items (pictures/prints, unit-specific items, etc)
3. Hand-crafted items (knives, leather goods, woodworking, etc)4. Items for/about dogs (service vests/patches/unique dog items)
5. Unique services (gift certificates for massages/special training/etc)
6. Tickets to special events (sporting events, concerts, etc)
8. Other items not listed here!
